Vince Rowe is host of  Ahead of the Curve which airs live 1pm-2pm weekdays on 1190AM radio in Dallas and on the Internet at ustream.tv.  By popular demand, reruns of his show are made available continuously at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/vince-rowe.  The show originates from Dallas, reaching a global audience that, each week, downloads over 500,000 views of his MP3 Podcast.

In 2005, Vince started Online Trading Academy—a Dallas-based hands-on education and training institute where individuals can learn the “ins and outs” of markets, particularly how to trade stocks and bonds successfully.  His Academy has helped many people take full charge of their own investment portfolios and grow their financial assets with minimum downside risk.  Student testimonials to the benefits of Vince’s trading strategies abound and are widely available both online and by request.

Years of personal success in investing and a passion for educating ever-larger audiences led Vince in late 2009 to sell his flourishing Online Trading Academy and focus his effort full time on his radio program.  Vince’s passion for education began years ago while he was an Instructor for a small adult education company called New Horizons Computer Learning Center.  His insight and management expertise were instrumental in the company’s growth—both domestically and internationally—and he was ultimately named the company’s Chief Operating Officer.

Always seeking a new challenge, Vince went on to hold executive positions in such companies as Sylvan Learning Centers, International Children’s Digital Library (ICDL) and Fujitsu.  While at Fujitsu, Vince started and ran the Human Capital Management division as well as the training support function where he had developmental responsibilities for numerous large groups of employees on four continents.  Through combining the technical components of training with the science of how individuals learn, Vince repeatedly demonstrated his ability to get the most out of employer-provided workshops.

While at Fujitsu, Vince also facilitated two large-scale mergers and acquisitions.  He retired from the corporate world at 40 to pursue his interest in the financial markets and trading.  He became a professional trader in 2003, combining his professional achievements with his trading prowess to achieve super-high rates of return.  He also bought and sold several businesses with his venture capital partners and today continues to hold majority ownership positions in small incubator companies.

Vince is a decorated Desert Storm veteran and an ex-Army Ranger.  He is originally from Southern California and now resides in Dallas, Texas.  He lives in Dallas with his wife, Dr. Susan Kohl-Rowe and their seven children.
